Cooking is one of the strongest ceremonies for life. When recipes are put together, the kitchen is a chemical laboratory involving air, fire, water and the earth. 

The students of Kindergarten were introduced to the topic – Healthy  food. Here they learnt the difference between healthy food and junk food, besides the importance of having a healthy meal. To reinforce the this idea of healthy food and good eating habits,KG section had a class event – Sandwich Day – on 12th July 2019. During this event ,the students learnt how to make a simple sandwich. Together with their teachers, they made jam as well as butter & egg sandwiches. The children also learnt to appreciate sweet and spicy tastes.

This was the awareness that the teachers of DePaul Public School wanted to create in Depaulians. Most enthusiastically and ebulliently, the teachers assisted and guided the little cherubs of Kinder Garden learn how to prepare tasty and delicious sandwiches. The children had a wonderful time preparing and eating sandwiches.
