Students Code of Conduct
Each student is expected to:
  •  Obey all campus and classroom rules. Students should be polite and courteous. They must greet their teachers, elders and other respectable persons when they meet them. They should also greet one another.
  •  All students shall be in the school premises at least five minutes before the morning bell. Early comers are expected to remain in their class rooms and study in silence till the warning bell goes.
  •  All must remain silent and study till the teacher comes to the class. Students shall keep silence and decorum in the classes. In the absence of a teacher, they must not leave their classrooms or seats. They should not make any noise. The class leader must report the matter in the office.
  •  Students shall endeavor to keep up the high standard and morale of the school by excelling in studies, good manners and deportment.
  •  Prepare for each class; take appropriate materials and assignments to class.
  •  Attend all classes, regularly and on time.
  •  Converse only in English. English is strictly the medium of communication within the campus.
  •  Respect the rights and privileges of students, teachers and report information to school that may jeopardise others safety.
  •  Respect school property; be responsible for the safety of ones belongings.
  •  Cooperate with and assist the school staff in maintaining safety, discipline and an orderly environment.
  •  Reading materials like books, periodicals, comics film magazine, electronic equipment and curious articles should not be brought to the school.
  •  Pupils are advised not to wear gold ornaments other than ear rings when they come to school. They should not have too much of pocket money and expensive items.
  •  Pupils or parents must not give any present to the teachers without the permission from the principal.
  •  Meet campus standards of grooming and dress.
  •  Prayers must be recited with due respect and devotion. All the students are exhorted to cultivate the habit of daily morning and evening prayers. Catholic students are recommended to visit the blessed sacraments in the morning and during the noon interval time.
  •  Behave in a responsible manner, showing regard for authority, always exercising self-discipline.
  •  Demonstrate courtesy, even when others do not.
  •  Attendance is obligatory. In case the child is absent he/she should get the sanction of ‘leave application’ from the principal before the beginning of the class. Parents must also clearly state the reason for absence in the Leave Record of the Handbook.
  •  No student who comes late shall enter the class without obtaining the signature from the principal in the ‘late note’. On the next day parent/guardian must put signature in the specified space. Failure to do so invalidates the application.
  •  If a pupil is absent continuously for 15 working days without previously obtaining leave his/her name will be removed from the rolls and usual admission fee will be charged if he/she is to be readmitted.
  •  When a child is ill he/she should not be sent to school. This holds good for test and examination days also.
  •  Necessary exemption may be given for absence on medical grounds. Proper medical certificate should be presented as soon as the child returns to class.
  •  Continued absence without leave will render a student liable to have his / her name struck off the rolls.
  •  Students are not allowed to go out of the campus during school hours including recess time.
  •  No student will be sent home even in emergency unless an authorized person comes to take him / her home.
  •  We follow a strict time schedule. Please adhere.
  • Examination and Promotion
  •  There will be two formative assessments and one summative assessment in each semester of an academic year. Proficiency award will be given to high performance students from each class.
  •  Achievement Report will be sent to the parents through their wards after each assessment. Parents are expected to co-operate and study the progress of their wards and return the same with their signature within two days.
  •  Anyone found guilty of mal practice in the examinations will be debarred from the rest of the examinations. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against him/her.
  •  No student will be allowed to study in the same class for more than two years.
    School Fees
  •  The school fees are to be paid by hand.
  •  All the school fees are due in advance. The yearly fees may be paid in three installments as shown below:
  •  1st Installment -      in the first week of July
  •  2nd Installment -    in the first week of October
  •  3rd Installment -     in the first week of January
  •  No late payment will be accepted. However if there is any delay due to unforeseen circumstances, such payments will be accepted with special permission from the Principal along with a late fee.
  •  Fee receipts must be retained and produced as proof of payment, if asked for.
  •  The school authorities reserve the right to revise fees from time to time as and when it is necessary.
  •  Fees and bus fare once remitted in the office will not be refunded on any account.
  •  Conveyance & Traffic Guidelines

  •  The school runs its own buses on selected routes. The charges vary according to distance.
  •  Children who want to use the School Bus facility should register.
  •  Parents have to make necessary arrangements to hand over and to collect back their children at the scheduled bus stop.
  •  After getting off the bus, children should wait at the bus stop till the bus moves again. They should be very cautious and see that they cross the road only after the bus has left the stop so that accidents can be avoided.
  •  Parents should see to it that private vehicles are regular and punctual in dropping off and picking up their children.
  •  To avoid unnecessary rush and traffic jam within the campus, children should be dropped at the school early.
  •  Drivers of vehicles are requested to drop and pick up the children at the parking area or at the drop and pick up points only. Avoid dropping and picking up the children on the road to avoid traffic jam and accidents.
  •  Vehicles are expected to enter and exit the campus through the main entrance.
 Parental co-operation
  •  Parents are kindly requested to co-operate with the school by enforcing regularity, punctuality & discipline and by taking interest in their childrens progress.
  • Encourage your child to be open minded, eager to learn and to develop new ideas.
  •  Expect and encourage your child to listen in a mutually respectful manner to both peers and adults.
  • The school diary serves as a means of communication between the school and the parents. Please check the school diary every day and see to it that the home work assigned for the next day is done and countersign the remarks entered in the diary.
  •  Occasional newsletters are sent home with the child to update and inform you of school events. Special notes or information is sent home as required.
  •  Parents/guardians are requested not to visit the children or interview the teachers during class hours without prior permission of the Principal.
  •  Parents/guardians are requested to notify the school office in writing of any change in their address or telephone number. In all communications with the school, the name, standard and division of their children should be clearly mentioned.
  •  It is up to the parents to bring to the attention of the Principal and the teachers their childrens habits or traits of character or any other matter that may need special care and attention.
  •  Whenever possible avoid taking students out of the school during term time for holidays and other non-academic events.
  •  Through the development of tolerance, understanding and a commitment to others support your child in the forming of resilient relationships.
 Parents are requested to inform about the lost articles and they can collect the lost articles from the school office within a week, after that unclaimed articles will be disposed off.
  •  Students are admitted on the understanding that they will remain in the school at least for the entire academic year.
  •  Notice of withdrawal must be given in writing at least one month in advance. If apparent desires to withdraw the child from the school before the end of the school year, the fees for the entire academic year should be paid.
  •  Discretionary Expulsion/Removal
  •  Misconduct may result in removal from the regular educational setting in the form of routine referral or a formal removal. The Principal could resort to in-school suspension or out-of-school suspension.
  •  Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or defiance of authority by the parents is sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
  •  Any student, whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory, will not be allowed to continue in the school.
